I love to send a thank you note to my customers each month and for November I wanted the card to have an autumn/Thanksgiving feel to it. I chose the Celebration Tidings Stamp set and the color combination of Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze. These three colors really feel like fall to me. Celebration Tidings is one of those stamp sets you will use for holidays all year long! "Always Grateful" is just one of the sentiments included in the set.
I started with a piece of Whisper White and stamped the sentiment "Always Grateful" in Cajun Craze slightly left of center. Then I stamped three bouquets in each color, being sure to rotate the stamp each time. Finally, using Mossy Meadow, I stamped the dots ("bubbles, actually, from the Whale Done stamp set) to fill in the spaces. I matted this with a piece of Cajun Craze card stock and adhered those to a Whisper White card base. The cutting sizes are below.
Whisper White Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Cajun Craze Mat: 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White for stamping: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8"
Here's a photo of the inside of the card.
I stamped the design from Celebration Tidings in Cajun Craze. I love how it frames the writing space with just a little color.
